Breaking in Some new Subwoofers

Break in your new set of Subwoofers with a bang. Make sure your subs are not under-powered and that they are in the proper subwoofer enclosure. IF your sub's don't have enough power, you may not be getting your money's worth. Make sure you match your subs up with the correct amplifier. You want to match the rms watts, with the rms watts of the amplifier. Most of the time you want to go with a mono-block class "D" amplifier. The mono-block will be 1ohm stable, and by it being class "D"; it use the power more efficiently. Also make sure your speakers have enough room to breath. Speakers in an enclosure with to little air-space will not sound good and could even damage the woofer. Have tips on getting the most out of Subwoofer, please share your knowledge.
